We at Feminism in India are excited to share that we are hosting a campaign to continue the great conversations happening at our Mental Health and Wellness section. Our aim, both with the campaign and our work, is to break down the stigma and myths associated with mental illnesses and provide a platform for folks to share their stories. Mental illnesses are feared and stigmatized tremendously in India – these misconceptions often stem from ignorance and superstitions. We want to start challenging these attitudes, one day at a time.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”What Are We Doing? ” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:center|color:%2322d69a” google_fonts=”font_family:PT%20Sans%3Aregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Join us at #SupportNotStigma and send us positive posters, artwork , comics or doodles about your experiences with mental health and illnesses, what it means to you, what message you have for our readers. This may be from your personal experience or from your observations. Tell us the myths and stigmas you want to see disappear from our society. We would love to hear from you and will curate the content at our Mental Health and Wellness section. Send this to us no later than October 9, 2016 at info@feminisminindia.com.

Selected artwork will be featured on our website and social media on October 10 with a huge shout-out to you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_cta h2=”” txt_align=”center” add_button=”bottom” btn_title=”Send Artwork” btn_color=”vista-blue” btn_align=”center” btn_custom_onclick=”true”]#SupportNotStigma mental health campaign[/vc_cta][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Read and share experiences” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:center|color:%2322d69a” google_fonts=”font_family:PT%20Sans%3Aregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][td_block_1 category_id=”15″ ajax_pagination=”next_prev”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Crowdsourced #SupportNotStigma Artwork” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:center|color:%2322d69a” google_fonts=”font_family:PT%20Sans%3Aregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”15575,15576,15577,15578,15579,15580,15582,15583,15584,15585,15586,15587,15588,15589,15590,15591″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
