Feminism in India launched a campaign – #ThePadEffect to advocate for sustainable menstruation in collaboration with Eco Femme, Uger Pads, Boondh Cup, She Cup, Shomota and Saathi.

The twee-chat discussed various issues from how menstrual taboos reinforce the marginalisation of women to what are some of the taboos associated with sustainable menstrual products like cloth pads/menstrual cups among others.
