I am a lawyer working with persons subject to sexual abuse. I am also involved in policy work which aims towards bringing in a justice system which doesn’t re-traumatize and is humane. For me, my work doesn’t stop there. It includes fighting against the ubiquitous rape culture which promotes survivor blaming, normalizes sexual violence, and fails to understand the complex nature of the harm it causes
