
Antara Buzarbaruah
Antara Buzarbaruah is an Impact and Policy Research Institute (IMPRI) Fellow, EWLP Cohort 6 – ILSS Alumni, an independent researcher, certified sexuality educator, and a gender justice professional. She has over 10 years of experience in program development and implementation focused on empowering adolescent girls and the prevention of violence against women. Her work spans across research, advocacy, and community engagement in Assam, Jharkhand, and Karnataka – towards recreating gender inclusive spaces. She is currently researching the intersection of visual culture and women. Among her publications, she has co-authored a white paper underscoring the critical need for comprehensive sexuality education for children in schools and published a writing piece in Tarshi about Sexuality Education and the role of the stakeholders in imparting it.
