Dr Seema Bhaskaran
Dr. Seema Bhaskaran, Gender Expert at TRI, has 26 years of experience in gender, inclusion, and equality. Her expertise is focused on capacity building, mentoring, and empowering women and children, particularly in rural areas. As lead in TRI on gender, inclusion, and diversity, she worked on gender integration in entrepreneurship, decentralization, and health. She has developed gender integration strategies, designed training programs, and strengthened institutions to enhance women’s agency while working with the National Rural Livelihood Mission, Ministry of Rural Development. While at the National Institute of Rural Development, she mentored SRLM staff and cadres, creating protocols, manuals, and modules for social inclusion and gender integration. As State Project Director for Mahila Samakhya, she led the development of federations, managed educational programs, and provided training for teachers, focusing on gender education.
