Dr Saurabh Das is an Assistant Professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) in Bengaluru. He is an interdisciplinary academic with expertise in the Political Economy of Communication, Visual Culture, Critical Discourse Analysis, and Social Change. Currently, he is engaged in several research projects that focusses on the intersectionality of gender studies, culture, and technology. Specifically, his focus lies in examining how technological discourses influence the lived experiences of blue-collar workers, including domestic workers and Safai Karmacharis. Through investigations into the Digital Divide phenomenon, he seeks to comprehend the perspectives of blue-collar workers from their vantage point.
