Ushasi Banerjee is a Research Scholar in the Department of History at University of Kalyani. She is a Guest Lecturer in the Department of History at Women’s College, Calcutta. Her research focuses on the social and cultural histories of marginalised populations in India, with particular emphasis on women, children, Dalits and refugee communities.
