What is the fellowship about?
The Transform Fellowship is an initiative aimed at skilled, gritty young professionals and students keen to address education issues collaboratively with the Transform Schools team and advisors. The Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to understand, unpack, illuminate and even address issues that impact the attainment of equal access, quality, and outcomes in education, especially in the wake of COVID-19. Transform Fellows will be mentored by Transform’s Team, Board, Advisors and Community Partners, who are experts. Fellows will work in tandem with their peers, mentors, and their projects will be widely shared via global dissemination channels and events.
Fellows will engage with the issues via the following lens:
- Exploring Public Education (Art and Storytelling)
- Equity and Gender in Education
- Participatory Action and Reflection
- Programme and Analytics
- and the Educators’ Fellowship.
- Enrolled in a recognised post-graduate/ undergraduate program in the art, social sciences, technology, development or relevant discipline
- Hands-on or work experience relevant to their project is appreciated

About Transform Schools, People For Action
We are an Indian NGO working across 5 Indian States and with 5.1 Million children. We use powerful models and high-quality resources to transform Teaching, Learning, School Management, Enrolment and Gender PARity. These are implemented in partnership with State governments and NGOs. We do this by providing rigorously tested tools and training to students, teachers, school governors, and Head Teachers. The program aims to impact 7.5 Million children by 2023.
