We’re on the lookout for a talented Promo Writer with expertise in both Hindi and English—someone who not only has a deep love for the language but also knows how to use it to create magic on screen. Whether it’s a gripping trailer, a punchy teaser, or an on-air promo that makes people stop and watch, we want your words to leave a mark.
Requirements:
- Strong command over both English and Hindi; should be comfortable crafting compelling narratives in both languages. Prior experience writing for English shows or a deep familiarity with English novels, films, or OTT content is preferred.
- Experience in writing short stories, scripts, or screenplays with a flair for storytelling that hooks readers in limited word count
- Background in filmmaking or screenwriting is a strong advantage—should understand visual storytelling, sound, editing, and adopt a “writer-first” app roach
- Prior experience as a Creative Producer, Assistant Creative Producer, Executive Producer, or in assisting directors—particularly with exposure to writers, directors, and editors—is a plus and highly desirable Writing experience is non-negotiable
- Experience in on-air promotions or post-production in OTT/media is a plus. Bonus if the candidate has worked with book promotion agencies, ghostwriting, or has been active in professional writing communities.
Responsibilities :
- Develop compelling short- and long-form promotional content to market Pocket Novel books across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more
- Collaborate closely with video and audio teams to bring promotional campaigns to life with engaging visuals and sound
- Monitor creative performance and continuously optimize campaigns based on user engagement data and analytics
- Select books for promotion by analyzing market trends and aligning with the content preferences of both existing and potential users.
