    Feminist Leadership, Movement Building and Rights, organized by CREA, is a five-day residential training in Hindi. But since last year, due to corona pandemic, it is being conducted through virtual mode. Keeping in mind the safety of all the participants and trainers, the eighth in the series, will be conducted through Zoom call from 4th – 8th October 2021.

    This training program is designed to strengthen feminist leadership, advocacy and strategies for increasing organizational strength and movement for social change. This training is for women working in all non-governmental organizations in India and for activists related to women’s issues, who work in leadership roles at the level of the head or at the mid-level in their organization.

    Course Content

    FLMBaRI-Hindi will enable the participants to identify different intersections, interactions, common spaces and challenges that social movements encounter when collaborating on issues of women’s human rights. The key topics to be covered in the Institute are:

    • Feminism
    • Feminist Leadership
    • Gender and Nation
    • Internet and Movement Building
    • Networking and Cooperation

    Course Timings

    October 4 – 02:30 pm – 6 pm (Zoom meeting)
    October 5 – 02:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Zoom meeting)
    6 October – 02:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Zoom meeting)
    7 October – No Meeting
    October 8 – 02:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Zoom meeting)

    Participants and Selection Criteria

    Candidates who identify as woman and have at least two years of work experience on issues of gender, women’s rights, development or youth can apply for this training.

    • Participant must be able to access online/zoom.
    • Participants can also use laptop, computer or smart phone.
    • A total of 20 participants will be accepted for the training on the basis of their application.

    Cost of Participation

    There is no course fee. CREA will pay the cost of internet recharge of up to Rs 500 to the participant.

    (Note: Internet Package amount will be reimbursed only after receiving the receipt and duly filled-in reimbursement form by the participant)

    N.B.

    The applications are due on or before September 12, 2021. Applications received after the last date will not be considered. Confirmation will be sent to ONLY selected candidates between 20 – 22 September, 2021.

    Note: The process of selection will begin with the application of participants. You are requested to send the filled-in application form as early as possible.
