Role and Responsibilities:
- Write a variety of content for program marketing collateral, including long- and short-form content such as program brochures, emailers, landing pages, social and text ads, press releases, etc
- Ensure all-around consistency according to editorial guidelines of partner schools (specific writing styles, tone of communication, and tone)
- Conduct research on competitor programs and come up with content pegs that communicate the program offering to the right target group
- Take ownership of content development, meet timelines, and ensure content meets business goals Liaise with various stakeholders within the team to ensure accurate program information is being communicated
- Occasionally proof and copyedit material produced by other writers
- Aid the design team with visual cues to go alongside the content
- An understanding of style guides is essential for this role
Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English/Communication
- 5+ years of experience in writing content for a senior executive audience
- Published writing samples that demonstrate the ability to fluently switch between British and American English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Experience working with the higher education/business school market is preferred
- Flexibility in working across multiple time zones is essential as we are a globally distributed team
