Candidate with a deep focus on funding organizations and understanding the evolving tech-policy ecosystem, managing press relations and social media handling. The role is hands-on, and will manage proactive and reactive communications, from strategy to messaging to execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
– Assist the Head of Organization in implementing development plans, manage print and electronic media and social media handling
– Keep track of all funding opportunities from the government, private and bilateral and multilateral agencies
– Develop, maintain, and utilize a donor base
– Consult with and update the Head on the follow ups for different funders.
– Initiate contact and liaise with corporate CSRs, embassies, and other potential donors
– Identifying sources of funding, preparation of relevant material about the institution for proposals
Essential Skills
– PG or professional degree in communications preferred
– Excellent verbal and written communication skill
– Minimum 5 years professional experience, of writing and editorial experience
– Proficient in MS Office and various social media applications, strategies and best industry packages
– Graphic design experience which is creative, innovative and detail oriented
