UNICEF is looking for a dedicated Partnerships Officer to join YuWaah!, its pioneering initiative that connects young people with education, training, and employment opportunities. As a Partnerships Officer, you will work closely with the Partnerships Specialist to drive UNICEF’s engagement with key stakeholders and make a tangible difference in the lives of millions of young people.

Position Details

Location: New Delhi, India
Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop partnership proposals, reports, and concept notes to support donor engagement.
  • Coordinate high-level meetings by preparing agendas, briefing notes, and minutes.
  • Contribute to donor reporting and documentation of impact stories and progress updates.
  • Create compelling presentations and storytelling materials for fundraising and advocacy.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, workshops, and convenings.
  • Conduct research on potential funding and partnership opportunities.
  • Support knowledge management and best practice documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating partnerships and fundraising efforts.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support partnership development.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: 18 – 80
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in partnerships, fundraising, proposal writing, or communications.
Nationality: Open to nationals or legal residents of India.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Communications, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and donor relations.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, especially in proposal writing and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for youth development and social impact.
  • Driving License
