About the role:
We are looking for an experienced administration assistant to collaborate with and support authors, referees, and in-house editors throughout the publication process.
How you will make an impact:
– Be an active member of a global editorial team, collaborate with other editorial colleagues to support journal publication
– Provide administrative support for in-house editors throughout the whole publication process from manuscript submission until final publication
– Communicate with international editors, authors, and reviewers to support and guide them through the publication process
– Track submissions through the editorial process
– Prepare manuscripts for peer reviewing and checking their completeness and correctness according to specified, formal and technical guidelines
– Ideally be familiar with manuscript submission/peer review systems, such as ScholarOne Manuscripts and Editorial Manager
What we are looking for:
– Excellent communication skills in English (written/verbal)
– Excellent knowledge of MS Office and related software, and a willingness to learn new software programs
– Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
– Talent to work independently as well as part of a team
– Previous experience working in publishing would be an advantage.
