Indian wrestlers gave a brilliant show at the Asian Junior Wrestling Championship in Taichung, Taiwan and bagged five medals – 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
Among them, wrestler Pooja Gehlot clinched gold in 51kg category while Sonu and Manju Kumari bagged a silver and a bronze in 44kg and 59kg division, respectively.
Pooja beat Japan’s Chisaki Hori 6-5. As YesPunjab reports, the duo entertained the crowd with a flurry of attacks, with Hori taking the early lead and took two points, but Pooja soon caught up and took four points with a couple of takedowns. Pooja held on in the closing stages of the match to clinch a narrow victory.

The final team scores for Greco-Roman were Iran 71, Kazakhstan 58 and India 55.
