Sukanya is a freelance writer, poet and lawyer. She was awarded the All India Poetry Prize in 2015, which she recognizes as the defining moment of her inner life as a writer. She holds a graduation in law, a post-graduation in philosophy and a post graduate diploma in print journalism. A former copywriter for advertising, Sukanya now juggles between freelance writing and legal practice.
